Receiving

Receptions and receiving yards: Parker Washington

Receiving touchdowns: Mitchell Tinsley

Parker Washington is the returning leader in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

With an increased workload with Jahan Dotson’s departure, as well as being one of the best receivers in the Big Ten, he will almost certainly lead the 2022 Penn State Football team in both receptions and receiving yards. The third-year receiver has a chance to reach 100 receptions and/or 1,000 receiving yards on the year.

Although Washington is more than capable of finding the endzone quite often, his new counterpart in Mitchell Tinsley has a knack for finding the endzone. Last year as a member of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, Tinsley hauled in 14 touchdowns as the team’s No. 2 option, which is more than Washington has in his entire career to this point.

As a much bigger target than Washington, the six-foot-one transfer portal acquisition could become a go-to option in the redzone, so don’t be surprised to see Tinsley as the leaders in touchdown grabs for this team.
