3. RB London Montgomery

Penn State Football has had a great run with in-state running backs lately and that may continue with London Montgomery.

The Scranton Prep standout will take his official visit to Happy Valley this week according to 247 Sports.

Rated as a 3-star, Montgomery emerged as a serious target for the Nittany Lions during the winter months. He received his Penn State offer back in March and has made his way to campus a couple times since.

The only other running back to take an official to Penn State this June was 4-star Treyaun Webb. While Penn State is by no means out of it with Webb, Montgomery just seems more likely to end up in this class.

There really isn’t much more for the staff to show to Montgomery, this is a visit that they hope will lock him up in the class.
