2. RB Treyaun Webb

Running back Treyaun Webb has been a name Penn State fans have heard a lot over the past year or so.

The staff has been in frequent contact with the 4-star since his decommitment from Oklahoma back in November. The relationship goes beyond that though, as Webb was up for game last season and knows running back coach Ja’Juan Seider well.

Seider is the one who gives Penn State a fighting chance in this recruitment. Four of the last six running backs to sign with Penn State played their high school ball in Florida.

The competition for Webb, who is ranked as the No. 5 running back in the nation, is tough as Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina remain in the mix.

It still feels like Scranton, PA running back London Montgomery is going to end up being the running back in Penn State’s class, but we’ll have to wait and see how Webb’s visit goes this upcoming weekend.

It really wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see Seider work his magic and land another Florida running back.
