Anthony Evans

Anthony Evans is another new name for Penn State fans, but one that may come up more often in the next month.

He received his Penn State offer last week and has already set an official visit to Penn State. The visit will take place on June 24 according to his 247 Sports profile.

From Texas, Evans has plenty of suitors with offers from Georgia, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida State and Texas A&M. The fact Penn State was able to receive a visit so quickly after offering is a good sign.

Evans is listed at 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds. He is rated as a 3-star recruit and the No. 63 player in Texas. Penn State has had success in Texas with wide receivers before. Starter Parker Washington is from the Lone Star State as is 2022 enrollee Omari Evans.

Keep an eye out for Evans when he visits in June.
