Yazeed Haynes

Admittedly, there’s not a lot connecting Yazeed Haynes to Penn State right now.

The 6-foot-1 3-star just decommitted from Rutgers and is from Fort Washington, PA. He doesn’t have a Penn State offer but did recently pick up one from Minnesota.

Most times when guys decommit around this time in a cycle, it’s because they sense bigger offers are coming. To date, Haynes’ offers are the aforementioned Rutgers and Minnesota along with West Virginia, Ole Miss, Maryland, Boston College, Bowling Green and Towson.

Back on May 15, Haynes won WR MVP at a Rivals camp in Philadelphia. This performance may have caught the attention of some big programs and time will tell if Penn State was one.

Haynes isn’t a target right now, but we’ll have to wait and see if his recruitment starts to blow up.
