1. OT Kadyn Proctor
While Penn State will look to secure commitments from Rojas, Robinson and Gallagher on June 17, theyâll be looking to make a lasting impression with 5-star offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor.
Hailing from Des Moines, IA, Proctor is listed at 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds. He is rated as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country and also has official visits set up to Alabama and Oregon, according to his 247 Sports profile.
While not currently listed, Iowa is likely to receive an official visit as well.
Proctor placed Penn State in his top seven over the winter without ever really visiting the campus. That was obviously a promising sign, but now that heâs using one of his officials to Penn State is even more promising. The staff has done a great job here to at least stay in contention.
Fighting a battle for an offensive lineman against Alabama and Iowa really doesnât sound ideal at all, so the staff will look to hit an absolute home run on this visit. The fact that Proctor isnât that familiar with Happy Valley could work in Penn Stateâs favor, as the campus and surrounding area could make a good first impression on him.
Adding Proctor to an offensive line haul that already includes 5-star Alex Birchmeier and high 4-star Jven Williams would be an incredible pull by offensive line coach Phil Trautwein. Penn State is certainly an underdog in this recruitment, but this visit could turn the tide.
