On Saturday, Penn State football will take the field inside Beaver Stadium in front of spectators (including Micah Parsons) for the first time since November, and there are a variety of players and position groups that fans’ eyes will be drawn to throughout the game.

Many of the early enrollees will command a lot of attention, such as Nicholas Singleton, Drew Allar, and Zane Durant, but don’t overlook some very important returning players who will see an increased role in 2022.

Offensively, many eyes will be on the quarterbacks, specifically the competition for the backup role, as well as on the offensive line, as the Nittany Lions look to take a big step forward in the trenches.

On the other side of the ball, the competition between a pair of young and promising linebackers is one of the most important for Penn State Football in 2022, and the Blue-White game will be very telling of where that position battle currently stands.

Finally, the Nittany Lions look to replace a lot of experience and production at other key spots on defense, namely defensive end and cornerback, so there will be some potential big-time contributors at those positions to watch as well.

Here is a look at six returning players for Penn State Football fans to keep an eye on during the Blue-White game on Saturday.
