Seniors lead the way

No one gives more than friend of VBR John Harrar, and often times his impact isn’t obvious in the box score.

Harrar played 29 minutes, had just six points but snared 12 rebounds all while covering likely B1G Player of the Year Trayce Jackson-Davis and only committing one foul.  He only took six shots (making three) and although it’d be nice to get to the free-throw line once or twice, but wow, Harrar is just incredibly steady.

Similarly, Sam Sessoms came off the bench and played 28 minutes.  He didn’t shoot great from the field (3-8) but he made two important threes (out of three shots) and added three rebounds, two steals, and one assist (while only committing one turnover).

Sessoms’ two free throws pushed the Lions’ lead to three, forcing Indiana to shoot a 3 rather than going in the paint with Jackson-Davis on their last possession, which was especially clutch given he just missed two free throws earlier in the half.
