Penn State Football wins if …

Sean Clifford is coming back.

The number one quarterback recruit in the nation Drew Allar is signed, sealed and delivered.

Ta’Quan Roberson is out the door (to the University of Connecticut).

But who’s taking snaps on Saturday?

Traditionally, non College Football Playoff bowl games are a first look at the team next year.  But with Clifford returning next year, there’s no reason to assume he won’t be the starter Saturday.  Is there a chance we will see some of back-up Christian Veilleux?

It’s a confusing time, to say the least, but we’re going to stick to the quarterback position.  SEC defenses are known for being fast and athletic, so strong, accurate passes will be the key to moving the ball up and down the field.

Arkansas would probably be fine giving up the 4 yard outs, the wide receiver screens, etc. all day long.  So Penn State will need to throw the ball downfield.  Penn State wins if they have 10 catches of 15 yards or more.
