Rasheed Walker – Offensive Tackle

Offensive tackle Rasheed Walker started as a redshirt freshman in 2019 and flourished, so much so some mock drafts before the 2020 season had him as a potential first round pick in that years draft.

Walker had an underwhelming 2020 campaign and decided to return this season to right the narrative surrounding him, and although he had a very solid season, he did not have the break out season many hoped for the Nittany Lions.

Walker has not appeared in either of ESPN’s draft experts Mel Kiper or Todd McShay’s round one mock drafts nor there top ten tackles list, which does not bode well right now for him to be even a day two draft pick in the second or third rounds.

Before the season, Walker said this would be his final and last ride with Penn State Football but it may benefit him to return and work another season with offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and another season in the weight room with Dwight Galt.

At six-foot-six and 325 pounds Walker is the prototype tackle and will be drafted and have a shot to be a starter at the next level.

Prediction: Walker will play in the Outback Bowl but will enter his name in the NFL Draft.
