And here we finally have some minor shuffling of the teams in this edition of the power rankings. Previously I had the Boilermakers at No. 10, so let’s take a look at what they’ve done so far on the season.

To say Purdue has been busy so far this season is a gross understatement. They got everything kicked off by competing in a tri dual against Drexel and Rider on November 6th. Purdue dispatched of the competition 29-18 and 33-3 respectively.

The Boilermakers then hit the road once again to take on Cleveland State on November 14th, where they cruised to a relatively easy 39-7 victory.

Next up was a quad dual against Brown, Duke, and Northern Illinois this past Sunday, November 21st. Purdue keep the train rolling by winning each of the duals 42-0, 28-15, and 28-10 respectively.

The Boilermakers next action takes place in the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on December 3rd and 4th.

So, Purdue is now 6-0 on the season. And their reward for this is for me to drop them a spot from the previous rankings. I’m sure you’re going to ask “why?”. Which is a good question.

Well, the answer has more to do with the next team than it does with what Purdue has done …
