Penn State Football remained unranked in the latest edition of the CFP rankings released Tuesday night

Despite collecting a road win at Maryland this past Saturday, Penn State Football remained unranked by the CFP committee in their latest rankings released Tuesday night.

Sitting at 6-3 with wins over No. 17 Auburn and No. 18 Wisconsin, and having the same record as both of those squads, the Nittany Lions continue to get no respect.

They will get their chance to pick up a huge win this Saturday when the Lions host No. 6 Michigan at Beaver Stadium at noon. A win over a top-ten team should do the trick to seeing Penn State Football ranked next Tuesday.

College Football Playoff committee continues to punish Penn State Football for bad loss

The committee has not given a reason for not ranking Franklin’s squad however it is probably safe to assume the loss to Illinois is the bugaboo they cannot shake. However, that loss looks a little bit better this week after Illinois knocked off the then ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers on the road.

The Nittany Lions not only get a chance this Saturday to prove a point but will travel to No. 7 Michigan State in a few weeks with another chance to move their way up.
