Penn State Football snapped a three game losing streak in a 31-14 victory over Maryland Saturday afternoon.

Penn State Football got a much needed victory on Saturday by way of a 31-14 blowout of the Terrapins.

It was not always pretty but a win is a win especially when they needed one so badly, with Saturday’s victory marking their first in 35 days since last beating Indiana.

Jahan Dotson once again stole the show setting the Penn State Football single-game receiving record with 242 yards on 11 catches to go with tho three touchdowns.

A pick six by safety Ji’Ayir Brown late in the fourth iced things for the Nittany Lions putting them up 17 points late in this one, a chance for Penn State Football fans to finally breathe a sigh of relief.

After the big win let’s hand out Penn State Football’s game grades and a game MVP:

Penn State Football LB Brandon Smith

Grade: A-

Linebacker Brandon Smith seems to get better with each passing game and Saturday may have been his best of the season.

Smith was everywhere, tallying nine tackles, two and a half tackles for loss and two pass deflections that came at key times for the defense.

He also had a key stop on Tagovailoa on a this down run early in the game that forced a punt. His athleticism and explosiveness from that middle linebacker position was on display all afternoon.

The defense was just nice again strong thanks to Smith, only allowing 14 points in this one. They’ll need another performance like this out of Smith when Michigan comes to town next Saturday.
