Linebackers

Grade: B-

Linebacker Brandon Smith was moved into the middle this offseason and has been slightly underwhelming to this point.

He flashes his potential and talent at times however he is still not a consistent force in the run game. His running mate Ellis Brooks however has been a menace against the run, leading the team in tackles with 44 to go with one sack.

Curtis Jacobs is starting to look more and more comfortable and looks to be trusting his eyes and playing fast the last two games. His profession will do wonders for this unit the rest of the way.
