Penn State Football Defensive Line

Grade: B+

The Nittany Lions defensive line suffered another blow this past week when head coach James Franklin announced defensive tackle PJ Mustipher will be out for the remainder of the season.

The defense has not been consistent in stopping the run and some of that falls on this group, however the addition of Arnold Ebiketie has paid huge dividends. The man they call “AK” has 31 tackles and four sacks already this season.

Jesse Luketa making the change to defensive end has been a massive boost to this unit as well, as he has 27 tackles but is terrific against the run which is needed for this defense.
