How last season’s disappointment sparked Penn State’s turnaround

If Penn State Football goes on to finish 8-1, 7-2 last season, covering up any warts this program clearly had, Franklin is probably inclined to give Ciarrocca another season.

Maybe Franklin is not as aggressive as he was in the transfer portal, thinking the roster he has is good enough. Perhaps, a bit if complacency would have been the tenur of the program.

Instead, that devastating loss has led to wholesale changes within the Penn State Football Program. So when they take the field Saturday night at Beaver Stadium, they are playing to get be 1-0, they are playing to get win number five this season, not to revenge any ghosts from a forgotten about 2020 season.
