One of Penn State Football’s most touted commits in the 2022 recruiting class, Ken Talley, had a dominant performance this past weekend

In our third edition of Penn State football commit of the week, we finally turn to the defensive side of the ball and highlight 4-star defensive end Ken Talley.

Before we get to that, we do want to make note of the monster games by a few other commits this past weekend.

Drew Allar had an even better game than last week.

On Friday night, Allar threw for 523 yards and five touchdowns, with one interception. His Medina High School Battlin’ Bees remain undefeated and look to be one of the toughest teams in Ohio.

Running back commit Nick Singleton had another dominant performance for Governor Mifflin on Friday. He ran for 154 yards and four touchdowns, as Mifflin won 56-0. According to the Martinsville Bulletin, wide receiver commit Tyler Johnson scored two touchdowns, but no other stats were given.

There was also some encouraging news with the top rated recruit in Penn State’s 2022 class as Dani Dennis-Sutton returned to the field in a limited capacity this past weekend. Dennis-Sutton had been out the past few weeks due to an arm injury he suffered during a scrimmage in mid August.

Penn State Football commit Ken Talley was dominant for Northeast High School

As for Talley, the Northeast High School star defender tweeted his stat line: 10 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. This production is nothing new for Talley and is a big reason why he is considered one of the top defensive recruits in the state of Pennsylvania.

Committed since last September, Talley has been one of the leaders of the Nittany Lions top ranked recruiting class. He has been vocal on social media and has done a lot of peer recruiting behind the scenes.

Penn State Football fans will be appreciative of Talley’s production on the field, but he also has a personality that will make him a fan favorite for years to come.
