USC

Penn State fans don’t have too many good memories of games against the Southern Cal Trojans.

The last two matchups have come in the Rose Bowl, with USC winning both. The 2017 victory was heartbreaking end to a special season for the Nittany Lions.

What better way for Penn State Football to extract some revenge than try to win a home and home series against the Trojans.

USC falls in the same category as Texas and Miami as storied programs that haven’t lived up to expectations the past few years. As they try to regain their dominance of the PAC 12 and become a yearly playoff contender, adding Penn State to the schedule may be a good idea.

These two schools don’t have many recruiting battles, but an interesting headline for this game would be that it seems like every off-season, Penn State head coach James Franklin is linked to the USC coaching job.

If these contests end up anything like their last meeting in the Rose Bowl, they will be must see TV.
