Lamont Wade — (undrafted free agent), Pittsburgh Steelers

Lamont Wade had one of the more confusing Penn State careers but ended on a high note by racking up 192 return yards in just 5 kickoff return attemps.

Wade’s career in the NFL will definitely be on special teams, at least in the beginning.  He can look to former Nittany Lion Nate Stupar on how to have a long and successful NFL career playing the majority of the time on special teams.  He’s currently listed as the “fourth string” free safety, behind Minkah Fitzpatrick, Antoine Brooks Jr. and John Battle.

Training camp will be key for Wade to try to stand out and make an impression with the Steelers coaching staff.
