No. 3: LB Micah Parsons

The highest rated recruit of the James Franklin era, Parsons looked like a lock to be a Buckeye until some issues surrounding his recruitment there led him to Penn State Football.

Parsons appeared in all 13 games his freshman season, but only started in one of them. He tallied 82 total tackles, one and a half sacks and two forced fumbles and was well on his way to becoming one of the best linebackers in the country.

His 82 tackles led the team, which was the first time in school history a freshman led the team in tackles in a season.

His speed and athleticism popped off the screen which led him to be selected as a Freshman All-American by The Athletic, 247sports and ESPN and an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection just like Freiermuth.

Parsons now figures to potentially be a top 10 pick in next week’s NFL Draft.
