Things could be about to heat up for Penn State Football recruiting as June visits are on the horizon

Visits will officially be a thing starting in June, meaning Penn State Football head coach James Franklin and his staff will be able to host all of their top targets.

This could mean June has the chance to significantly bolster the 2022 recruiting class, that is already among the strongest in the nation.

All the hypothetical visit dates that recruits have been tweeting out all Spring are now set in stone.

With that said, we’ll look at  five uncommitted recruits expected to be on Penn State’s campus in June and how the visit could alter, or end, their recruitment:

1. Julian Humphrey

Julian Humphrey, a 4-star cornerback from Texas, tweeted earlier this month that he will be in Happy Valley from June 18-20.

The Nittany Lions are looking to build on a strong 2021 cornerback haul with an even better 2022 one. The targets include Humphrey, Keenan Nelson Jr. and Jaeden Gould.

Being from Texas, the competition for Humphrey is stiff. Schools after him include LSU, Texas A&M and Florida, who recently offered.

Penn State Football has had recent success in the Lone Star State, as Parker Washington is from there. The Nittany Lions are hoping to grab two Texas targets in 2022, with Cristian Driver being the other.

Getting Humphrey up for a visit can only help the Penn State cause, as he’s been very pro Penn State on social media.
