4. Pat Fitzgerald – Northwestern Wildcats

Fitzgerald has quietly built one of the more underappreciated and underrated programs in the country in Evanston.

The Wildcats have represented the Big Ten West in two of the last three Big Ten championship games, losing both of them to Ohio State. Northwestern will have the occasional down year, like in 2019, but seems to always bounce back and surprise the following season.

Fitzgerald is 106-81 in his tenure at Northwestern and now had one of the best and most expensive practice facilities being built in the country which should help the Cats in recruiting moving forward.

Regardless of their talent level they are going to play good defense, be disciplined and not turn the ball over which is all a testament to the head coach.
