Michigan State Spartans

The Spartans are in a rebuilding period under second year head coach Mel Tucker after last offseason head coach Mark Dantoni suddenly stepped down.

Michigan State went 2-5 last season but did pick up big wins against Michigan and Northwestern and will need more of that underdog magic in 2021. The Spartans will travel to Miami in a fun non-conference matchup in week 3.

Tucker’s bunch got a good break with their crossover games as they will take on Purdue, Nebraska and Northwestern, avoiding the presumptive two best western division teams in Iowa and Wisconsin.

Prediction: 4-8
