Penn State Football recruiting is collecting a blue-chip laden class in the 2022 cycle

Penn State Football’s 2022 recruiting class is continuing to impress with eight 4-stars already committed in the class.

With so much momentum, and more recruits bound to jump aboard as the dead period likely opens up in the Summer, the question about how many commits will be in this class starts to get asked.

Originally, the 2022 class looked like a slam dunk to be a full 25-commit class, especially after how small the 2021 class was. That changed when head coach James Franklin started getting aggressive in the transfer portal this off-season.

Looking at some spots that the Nittany Lions may need a transfer at for 2022, it’s hard to imagine all 25 scholarships going towards high school recruits.
