Iowa in the quarterfinals

It’s rare, headed into a tournament ,to know your first three opponents but thanks to a conference with “10” in the name but 14 teams, we have an unusual bracket.

So, when Penn State Basketball takes care of Nebraska and upsets Wisconsin, next up is likely National Player of the Year Luka Garza and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Remember, even in Iowa City, Penn State had a second half lead before falling by 6.

If Buttrick can keep shooting well beyond the arc, Penn State Basketball could draw Garza out from the paint. And we know Harrar will make Garza earn every bucket. And with Joe Wieskamp’s ankle injury, I think they should rest him until the NCAA Tournament, just to be safe.

So why not, the Lions can win this one.  And then…
