2. Penn State Nittany Lions

A year ago this time you would be hard pressed to even find Penn State Football on this list.

The emergence of Jahan Dotson who led the conference in receiving was a huge boost, as he caught 52 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns. He was a no.1 wide receiver in every sense of the word for the Nittany Lions.

Freshman parker Washington was a menace in the slot and was squarely in the running for Big Ten Freshman of the year honors, exploding onto the scene after being a relative unknown heading into camp. Washington finished the season top 10 in receiving in the Big Ten with 36 receptions, 489 yards and six scores.

Don’t forget about the promise of their tight ends as well, as Theo Johnson and Brentan Strange look to be maybe the best tight end due in the conference as well.
