5. Maryland Terrapins

The Terrapins are going to scare some of the Big Ten’s top teams in 2021 and they will do so on the back of their passing game.

The name to watch in Maryland’s receiving crops is Rakim Jarrett, a former five-star recruit who shocked the college football world when he committed to the Terps. Jarrett caught 17 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns last season, flashing his elite athleticism and ball skills showing you why he was the recruit that he was.

Penn State Football fans remember him well after his two touchdown performance in the Terps’ upset victory over the Nittany Lions last season.

Dontay Demus Jr is the wiley veteran of the group and will be quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa’s security blanket. The junior caught 24 passes for 365 yards an four touchdowns last season in only five games.
