7. Rutgers Scarlet Knights

The Scarlet Knights got great news when last year’s leading receiver Bo Melton announced he would be returning for a final season in Piscataway.

Melton led the team with 47 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns in nine games, and did so with an up and down quarterback situation. Rutgers also bolsters solid depth behind Melton, with wide receivers Shameen Jones and Aron Cruickshank.

The two combined for over 70 receptions for 600 yards and four scores in 2020. The Scarlet Knights return quarterback Noah Vedral and their top three targets and should have a formidable passing game next fall.
