8. Michigan State Spartans 

The Spartans might have found their quarterback in Payton Thorne in the game against Penn State Football last season where he threw for three touchdown passes.

Thorne will have no shortage of speed on the outside next season with receivers Jalen Nailor and Jayden Reed. Nailor averaged just under 20 yards per reception last season catching 26 passes for 515 yards and four touchdowns. Reed, a transfer from Western Michigan is another speedster and the two of them will stretch defenses next fall.

Ricky White only caught 10 passes last season but averaged 22.3 yards per reception when he was targeted. The Spartans struggled incorporating the tight end into the offense last season though which hurt them on this list.
