B1G running back Rankings: How does Penn State Football stack up?
9. Indiana Hoosiers
Indiana will have to replace least season’s leading rusher Stevie Scott who is headed for the NFL, however, towards the end of the season young backs were starting to take some reps away from the veteran.
Freshman Tim Baldwin Jr. and sophomore Sampson James showed major flashes last season for the Hoosiers in their historic season.
Baldwin Jr. ran for 141 yards on only 22 carries, a stellar 6.4 yards per carry average while James had 96 yards on just over 30 carries.
The Hoosiers offense was dependent upon quarterback Michael Pennix and the passing game last season, however if Penix is not ready to go at the beginning of the season, the running backs will be more of a focal point.
