1. Ohio State Buckeyes

It will be no easy task for the Buckeyes to replace Heisman finalist Justin Fields at quarterback next fall, however few teams in the country have recruited the quarterback position as well as Ryan Day has over the past few seasons.

Redshirt freshman C.J Stroud and sophomore Jack Miller will battle it out for the starting job, however it is assumed Stroud will get the nod and be the next quarterback for Ohio State.

Stroud is a former high four-star recruit out of California who looks to be like the next great quarterback in Columbus following Dwayne Haskins and Justin Fields. Stroud is listed at six-foot-three and 205 pounds and can move, as evidenced by his 48 yard touchdown scamper against Michigan State last season.

Ohio State’s passing game get a huge boost when star wide receiver Chris Olave shockingly decided to stay for his senior year and return to the Buckeyes in 2021, passing up on being potentially a first round draft pick in April.

If Miller does win the job, it means he probably out-dueled a talented Stroud in camp, and it is a safe bet whoever is under center for Ohio State next fall, they are going to be dangerous.
