Big Ten Uniform Rankings – Where does Penn State Football stand?

13. Northwestern 

The Wildcats’ purple and black are one of the better color schemes in the Big Ten, however it is the awful lines running horizontally through the middle of the jerseys and weird stripes on the pants that make them an easy choice for near the bottom of this list.

Northwestern’s alternate “Goth” uniforms are even worse, marred with awkward gold pipping and gothic font. A clear mistake of just trying to hard to be creative. What about Northwestern is gothic anyways?

The Wildcats could move way up on this list if they would also pick a primary helmet color, as they constantly change between black, white and purple. The White helmet looks best with a purple top and white pants.

With a unique color scheme Northwestern needs to keep it simple and go back to their old school uniforms without the awkward lacrosse looking stripes on the jerseys.
