As with Rutgers, despite their ninth ranking on this list, the Terps are a team maybe worth buying stock in for the future.

Any optimism within the program starts and ends with quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, who transferred from Alabama and started as a redshirt freshman last season. Maryland had their season completely blown up Covid-19, playing only five games and going 2-3, however Tagovailoa still threw for 1,000 yards and seven scores while rushing for two more.

The Terps got their signature win in week 3 when they traveled to Beaver Stadium and handed Penn State Football their most embarrassing loss of the Franklin era, 35-19.

Maryland has work to do on the defensive side of the ball, especially against the run game and finding some bigger bodies along that front seven, however should be explosive on offense as Tagovailoa should only get better.

Former five star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett had an impressive freshman season, and will anchor a wide receivers group that returns its three leading pass catchers from last season.
