Way too early 2021 Big Ten power rankings | Where does Penn State Football stand?
Indiana enjoyed a dream season for the most part in 2020, defeating both Penn State and Michigan for the first time on over 20 years.
The Hoosiers finished the year 6-2 after losing the Outback Bowl to Ole Miss, but the damper on the season was starting quarterback Michael Pennix, who was leading the Big Ten in passing at the time, went down with what looked like an achilles injury in week 6 against Maryland.
Utah Transfer quarterback Jack Tuttle did a solid job in stepping in for Pennix, however if the left handed quarterback is going to miss most, if not all of this season with an injury it should lead to a regression season for Tom Allen’s squad.
The breakout season has for sure sparked football fever at what is usually known as a basketball school, however Indiana will not be sneaking up on anyone next season, and trips to Happy Valley and Ann Arbor loom on the schedule as redemption spots for their opponents.
Tom Allen has changed the culture, and expect the Hoosiers to be a consistent 7-8 win program moving forward.
