We head on back to 1994, a year in which Penn State was downright dominant on the offensive side of the ball. Led by quarterback Kerry Collins, running back Ki-Jana Carter, and wideout Bobby Engram, Penn State could pretty much score whenever they wanted to, and they did a lot of scoring against their rival, Ohio State.

In a game that was a blowout from the start, the No. 1-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions made quick work of Ohio State, putting up 63 points, and dominating on both sides of the ball. Penn State had grabbed the No. 1 ranking by beating up on No. 4 Michigan inside the Big House in Ann Arbor the week prior, and everyone, including Collins felt they should remain as No. 1 after the Ohio State win.

Unfortunately, Nebraska had beaten Colorado out West, and when the polls came out on Monday, they had squeaked by Penn State. That would loom large for the Nittany Lions, as, despite a perfect record, they finished as the No. 2 team in the country behind the Cornhuskers.

However, nobody will forget the Homecoming game in 1994, when Penn State went up 28-0 early and left Ohio State in their wake.
