Penn State Football defensive end Shaka Toney will represent the Nittany Lions in Saturday’s Senior Bowl 2021 in Mobile, Ala., the premier college football all-star game, which airs Saturday afternoon, January 30, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. on NFL Network.

Toney has turned heads during workouts, flashing both explosive pass-rush moves as well as versatility to drop in coverage. If Toney’s strong week of practices carry into Saturday’s game, he could dramatically boost his NFL Draft stock, ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft this spring.

The Senior Bowl prides itself each season on being the kickoff of the NFL Draft season, as head coaches, general managers and scouting staffs from across the league descend on Mobile, Ala. to scout the top draftable seniors in the upcoming class.

All week, the coaching staffs of the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins worked with the players in practices and meetings, giving them first-hand experience with the players. Friday during practices and meetings, the coaching staffs will swap to give the prospects exposure to both staffs, which can only help during the pre-NFL Draft evaluation process.
