Scraping the bottom of the barrel

Here it is guys. There’s no reason or hope that things are going to drastically change for Penn State Basketball this year.

Sure, the Nittany Lions will win one here or there, but it will take 14 or more three pointers. And, it just feels like any team with a big player is an automatic loss for PSU.

Welcome to the mid-2000s.

I was a student at Penn State and went to many games where we knew before tip Penn State didn’t have a chance. And, say what you will about former coach  Pat Chambers, he worked his a** off to get this program to respectability both with the officials and on the recruiting trail.

Remember…Penn State have ZERO 2021-2022 recruits signed. They all left after Pat “resigned”.

It’s pretty easy to envision a world where some of the players on this team won’t be back next year.

So, “what’s next?”  I guess that’s up to AD Sandy Barbour and if she’s willing to actually spend money on a program we know she doesn’t care about.
