Drew Shelton to Attend IMG Academy

Penn State’s 4-star offensive line commit Drew Shelton announced on Twitter Saturday night that he will leave Downingtown  West and attend IMG Academy in Florida for his senior year.

Although Shelton will be leaving Pennsylvania and will now be in prime recruiting territory of the SEC, it’s unlikely this move changes much in his recruitment.

Shelton will get top notch coaching, that is especially hard to come by in high school when it comes to the offensive line. He will also now be teammates with some of Penn State’s top targets in 2022. That includes quarterback A.J. Duffy, running back Kaytron Allen and three offensive linemen, Tyler Booker, Dayne Shor and Aliou Bah. Duffy, Booker and Allen rank high on Penn State’s target board.

Shelton’s move to IMG is good for all parties involved.
