Opponent: West Virginia

This game was formerly known as the Cheez-It Bowl that infamously finished 10-7 in 2018 between Cal and TCU, in which the two teams combined to throw six interceptions. Hopefully this matchup would be a bit more exciting then that gem, but West Virginia had a solid season, finishing 5-4 and looked greatly improved from 2019. These two teams have a home and home scheduled for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
