For years, Penn State Basketball has relied on one big-time scorer, like Talor Battle or D.J. Newbill.

More recently, that developed to maybe two big scorers, like Shep Garner and Tony Carr, or Carr and Lamar Stevens, or Stevens and Myreon Jones.

This Nittany Lion team is not built this way.  Their leading scorer coming into the game, Seth Lundy (18+ ppg) was held scoreless and only took four shots.  Penn State had incredible balance:

Brockington — 24 points

Myreon Jones — 14 points

Myles Dread — 11 points

Sam Sessoms — 10 points

John Harrar — 7 points
