Philly native Izaiah Brockington had a career night, leading the Nittany Lions with 24 points on just 14 shots.

Brockington added eight rebounds and one assist in by far his most complete game wearing the blue and white — or against Virginia Tech, the black and pink.

The St. Bonaventure transfer had a hot hand in the first half and never let up.  Despite the Hokies consistently defending him towards his weak hand, he was able to get to the rim at ease time and time again.  He had the mid-range jumper going and finished 2-3 from beyond the arc.
