Maryland +11.5 vs Indiana

I have been riding the Indiana train since week three and it has been nothin but lucrative, however this feels like a letdown spot for the Hoosiers. Last week, Indiana went to the horse shoe and hung with the Buckeyes till the very end, loosing 42-35. Quarterback Michael Pennix threw for 491 yards and five touchdowns, exposing a Buckeyes secondary many thought would be a strength of this years team.

Maryland is 2-1 and has not played since a blowout victory in Happy Valley against Penn State back on November 7th. The last we saw of the Terps, this offense led by Taulia Tagovailoa was electric, averaging 40 points per game in there two game win streak. Tagovailoa has thrown for 770 yards and six touchdowns in three games, but faces a tough test with an Indiana defense that forced three interceptions last week from Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields.

Indiana has handled there success well this season, but the test Saturday will be how they handle failure for the first time. Last week’s game in Columbus was easy to get up for, now they must lick there wounds and get off the matt in a sleepy noon start, hosting a Maryland team that should be hungry after not playing for a few weeks.

Indiana will win, but Maryland hangs around and scares the Hoosiers late into the fourth. Hoosiers 35-31.

The pick: Maryland +11.5
