What should Penn State Football expect from Will Levis?
He’ll Run You Over
At 6’3 230 pounds, Levis is a scary sight for any defensive player when he’s running right at you.
On 71 career attempts, Levis has 275 rushing yards and three touchdowns. His power running style is what differentiates him from the other quarterbacks on the roster. It’s a dynamic the offense can use with the absence of a dominant running game so far this year.
As we saw last week against Nebraska, when the receivers aren’t getting separation downfield, offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca isn’t afraid to dial up a play for Levis’ mobility to try to move the chains.
Penn State has struggled in the red zone so far this season, having a quarterback capable of running guys over should help them improve those numbers.
