He’s Got a Cannon

Levis has the ability to launch the ball down field, and his arm strength may be the best Penn State has seen since Christian Hackenberg.

The problem? Cannons can be inaccuate.

In Levis’ first two seasons of college ball, he has only completed 53.8% of his passes. The sample size is small, only 78 pass attempts, but it needs to improve for Penn State to win games.

The hope is that as he gets more reps and becomes more advanced with the offense, that his accuarcy could improve.

The game plan should be built around putting Levis in position to have high percentage passes and use his cannon when necessary. Stretching the field has been missing from this offense, that should change with Levis.
