Penn State football senior cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields has accepted an invite to the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Penn State football senior cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields now joins teammate Shaka Toney in accepting an invite to the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

This is a well deserved honor for the Maryland native after he came back for his senior season to refine his skills and get one more year of experience playing college football. Fields is projected by some sites right now to be a potential 4th or 5th round pick in April’s NFL Draft. Showcasing his skills and having a good week in Mobile with the other top seniors around the country could go  along way in realizing that dream and maybe even improving his draft stock.

Castro-Fields has been solid this season, recording 12 tackles and one pass defended, as it seems opposing quarterbacks are not often looking his way in the passing game. He does have three interceptions and a sack in his Penn State career.

Along with joining senior defensive end Shaka Toney in the 2021 Senior Bowl, now joins Penn State football alums Trace McSorley, Amani Oruwariye, Robert Windsor and Cam Brown in representing the Nittany Lions at the senior bowl.

Penn State football fans can catch Tariq Castro-Fields and Shaka Toney in the senior bowl January 30th, on the NFL Network.
