Caziah Holmes (Running Back)

The true freshman is projected to be fourth on the running back depth chart when the season starts, but Holmes will see more action than most fourth stringers would.

Penn State rotates their backs well and it’s safe to say that the 4-star recruit will be rotated in plenty. Unfortunately, injuries do occur, and it’s unclear if Devyn Ford will face punishment for an off-season possession charge, so Holmes can actually be moved up the depth chart.

Holmes is also listed as one of the primary kick returners, so fans will have a chance to see his explosiveness  in the open field. He has great break-away speed and should be a factor in the passing game as well. Especially with Penn State’s lack of experience at receiver. He’s not a physical running back like Noah Cain, but Holmes is bound to make some plays that make teammates and fans alike say “wow!”.

Next. Penn State should target these 5 recruits for 2021 class. dark
