Penn State Football players Robert Windsor and Cam Brown are down in Mobile for step one in their post-PSU careers towards the NFL. So, what are those in attendance saying about the duo?

Penn State football is represented by both DT Robert Windsor and LB Cam Brown in Mobile, Alabama this week at the Senior Bowl after both defensive players received their invites after the 2019 season. Brown finished his career in Happy Valley with experience all over the middle of the field and 72 total tackles in 2019 while Windsor capped his final Penn State season with 3.5 sacks and 40 total tackles.

They’ve both made waves in Mobile to start the Senior Bowl week and throughout the individual drills and practices. Here are what those in attendance have had to say about the former Nittany Lions:

After weighing in at 232 pounds and 6-foot-5 on the scales, Brown ‘won the measurements’ in the early stages.

He checked in with an arm length of 33 3/4 inches,  hands measuring in at 9 1/4 inches and a wingspan of 79 inches. He ticks all the boxes in terms of size and versatility at the NFL level but even he himself said he could get better at eliminating missed tackles in the open field.

Brown had some ‘wow’ moments during the scripted practices as well including the rep below that he immediately read run, stuffed the gap and fought off the blocking guard to make the tackle.

On the defensive line, it seemed to be a mixed set of feelings for Windsor’s performance this week in Mobile. On one hand, he looked rather replaceable during one-on-one drills (well, one-on-two drills it seems).

Sure, he got blown away here but that was a double-team. Do you really take this into account when you’re projecting him at the next level? No. Would it have been nice to see him handle his business and not get blown back three, four yards into the end zone? Yes.

But the very next day, Windsor joined his Penn State football teammate Brown as one of Day 3’s winners. He had an impressive rep in practice as well where he tossed offensive linemen in his way to get to the quarterback.

Windsor tipped the scales at 6-feet tall, 287 pounds with hands measuring at 10 inches even, arms at 33 inches even and a wingspan of 79 inches as well.

They each made plays it seems and each has had their moments so it seems. The Senior Bowl will take place live on NFLNetwork at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 25.
