The Penn State football program is in for a busy weekend as they are set to host three different prospects officially.

It’s officially time for the Penn State football program to start cramming in some official visits until they are cut off until later in July. Therefore, the Nittany Lions are in for a busy weekend. Not only are they kicking off their elite camp on campus, but they have quite a few visitors coming in to take a look at the program and get to know everybody.

On Friday morning, it has become public knowledge that there are a few unofficial visitors in town from down south. Florida native Thad Franklin, along with his teammate Bralon Brown has stopped in for a visit as they continue their tours as Juniors. However, they aren’t the only prospects checking out Happy Valley this weekend. There are in fact, three official visits set to take place this weekend, which include a defensive tackle, an end, and a wide receiver.

WR KeAndre Lambert

2020 wideout KeAndre Lambert is a six-foot-one-inch wideout who weighs in at 175-pounds. According to Rivals.com, he ranks in at 55th for the wide receiver position nationally. Currently, he has 31 offers on the table with some keen interest from Penn State. His visit this weekend will be his third meeting with the Nittany Lions, which has been the most for his journey so far.

DE Ty Hamilton

Ty Hamilton is a three-star defensive end recruit out of Pickerton, Ohio. He ranks 27th overall in the state and has garnered just over 20 offers with schools including Penn State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Michigan, and more. His visit this weekend will be the second time he joins the Nittany Lions in Happy Valley, but he’s also visited their rival Michigan a handful of times as well.

DT Isaiah Raikes

Richland, New Jersey native Isaiah Rakes is an intriguing three-star defensive tackle coming out of St. Augustine Prep. As the 16th ranked player in the state of New Jersey, Raikes has some significant interest from Penn State. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be the favorites in this scenario. According to 24/7 Sports’ crystal ball predictions, Texas A&M is Raikes’ likely landing spot. Rivals.com also doubled-down on the Aggies being his school of choice. However, the Nittany Lions are making a strong push as he’s on his second visit this year after having two in 2018 as well.
