Well our collective roundtable moved to 1-0, but it wasn’t without one of the biggest scares in Penn State football history. Now that the Nittany Lions have had that scare, I’m willing to bet the team comes together for a better week against rival Pitt.

The Nittany Lions have an explosive offense that scored 45 points in week one. If the offense can continue to trend upwards, it’ll reached the 40-plus, point plateau again. Trace McSorley accounted for three total touchdowns and will lead the way again.

Defensively, the team is still cleaning some issues up after surrendering almost 300 yards passing to App State. The secondary needs Amani Oruwariye, Tariq Castro-Fields, Nick Scott and the rest of the secondary need to step up. After gaining nice momentum with the game-sealing pick, hopefully they bounce back.
