Running Backs

Saquon Barkley was probably the best player on the field Monday night.  He did everything he could to help Penn State on the biggest stage.

Barkley finished the night with 25 carries, 194 yards and two touchdowns.  He averaged nearly eight yards a carry.  He also caught a touchdown pass and finished with five catches for 55 yards.

Barkley’s 79-yard run may have been his best ever in a Lion uniform and he may have broke some ankles along the way.  He continues to amaze week after week.  Penn State fans should rejoice that they will have the kid in Happy Valley for at least one more season.
